Bioinformatics Eligibility Requirements

Admission requirements include:

• BS or BA in a life science, chemistry, or computer science.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English. TOEFL scores are required of all international students whose native language is not English.

You are not required to take the GRE for admittance to the programs, although GRE scores (if provided) may be used in evaluating an applicant.

Taking courses before admission

If you are interested in enrolling in courses prior to admission to the program you may do so. Up to 12 credits earned in this status will apply toward your MS in bioinformatics upon formal admission into the program. However, taking classes before admission into the bioinformatics program does not guarantee admission into the program.

You must submit the following prior to course enrollment:

• Application for Graduate Studies
• Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
• Résumé/Curriculum Vitae
