Taking Courses before Admission
You may be eligible to take courses prior to admission although such cases are exceptions to our general policy of admitting students for full-time graduate study and research training. You can apply up to 12 credits you earn towards the master's of science or doctor of philosophy degree upon admission. However taking courses does not guarantee your admission to the program. The following information must be provided prior to course enrollment:
- Completed application form
- Transcripts from college coursework
- Résumé/Curriculum Vitae
- Statement of career and professional goals
- One letter of recommendation
If a number of colleagues at your place of business are interested in taking a specific course, consideration will be given to delivering the course at your business location. For more information on this option, please contact the College of Graduate Studies by e-mail at graduate@usp.edu or telephone (215) 596-8556.
