Program Requirements & Standards

Health Policy — provides you with a conceptual framework to understand the interconnectedness among public health, law and regulation, policy analysis, ethics, health care systems, management and economics. In addition, you will finish equipped with the methodological framework to apply those concepts to generate public health solutions within legislative and regulatory frameworks.

MPH Degree

The curriculum for the master of public health (MPH) consists of 38 credits of required coursework plus six elective credits for a total of 44 credits. You are required to complete the following:

• Public Health Core (required, 15 credits)
• Health Policy Concentration Core (required, 8 credits)
• Health Policy Concentration Electives (6 credits)
• Public Health Applied Core (5 credits)
